Simon Dyer

Simon Dyer is the regional director for Alberta and the North at the Pembina Institute, and former director of the Institute’s oilsands program. A registered professional biologist, Simon has worked on natural resource management issues in western Canada since 1999. Simon is the co-author of over 40 Pembina Institute publications and has represented the Pembina Institute at many regulatory and parliamentary hearings and multi-stakeholder processes. In 2013 he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his work to support environmentally responsible energy development in Alberta and Canada.
