This week, Policy Options magazine released a collection of articles as part of a special feature entitled “Science, Technology and Public Policy.”  The feature enabled several policy leaders to share their views on the role science and technology should play in the policy process. We caught up the author of one of the articles, Mel Cappe, a professor in the School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Toronto, to discuss whether government scientists should be allowed to engage in policy debates.
